When was the last time you did something out of courage?

Meditaction Courage-Vulnerability
Is being vulnerable an act of courage?

Hello friends, I hope you are all happy and well.

And in case you aren't, I wish that you are still being kind to yourself. 😊

Today at the park, we had another beautiful and genuine Meditaction experience. It is always very enlightening and satisfying to have new people joining in, which was the case today!

As always, our meditation session lasted for about 30 minutes, and we got to generate some inner peace and send some light to the world. It was a truly beautiful sitting experience with amazingly positive, loving vibes from everyone!

For the second part of the session, the Action in Meditaction, or the sharing of ideas, thoughts and feelings, we had on the menu:

- Sharing about the meditation experience itself, as well as some positive actions experienced in these last few days.

- The Challenge Exchange: Each person got to share about a challenging situation they are facing at the moment for a few minutes. Other people in the group had then the opportunity to ask questions to the person who shared their personal challenge. The goal was to solely use questions and let aside affirmations, opinions or judgements. The idea with this exercice, is that potentially, the collective questioning of the group, can help bring some clarity and different perspectives to the challeng, that perhaps the person who initially brought it had not envisioned before. Issues at work, with family members, with money and business, all came up during this truly wonderful exercice, that I believe helped everyone involved!

- Acting Out of Courage: In this activity, each one got to share about a moment or situation in their lives in which they have acted out of courage. Being alone in Nature and facing its dangers, facing the fear of being seen at work or in life, learning how to become truly one self and living the life that is our own, surpassing the fear of communicating in public and being able to deliver the message we have to share with the world - these were some of the courageous acts that came up in our discussion.

For me, just the fact that these people who didn't know each other or very little, decided to share something so important and deep about themselves, already shows their most brave and intrepid side. In our discussion, we talked a lot about the courage it takes to be vulnerable.

Our conclusion is, that being vulnerable is the inner willingness to open oneself up to the possibility of emotional exposure, revealing our true selves without fear of judgment or rejection. It requires an inner strength and a deep understanding that vulnerability is not a weakness, but rather an affirmation of our humanity. When we are able to embrace vulnerability, we create space for genuine empathy, compassion, and understanding in our relationships. It allows us to let go of our masks and pretenses, fostering an environment where honesty, trust, and intimacy can thrive.

Being vulnerable takes bravery, as we embark on a journey of self-discovery, embracing our imperfections and embracing the messy and unpredictable nature of life. It is in these moments of vulnerability that we find the courage to grow, to heal, and to truly connect with others on a profound level. It a true act of courage.

There are many ways in which we can act out of courage.

When was the last time you did it?

And how has your life been transformed after you did it?

Happy and courageous weekend to all!

💛
