Hello friends,
I hope you're making the most out of this last weekend of Spring (or Autumn, if you happen to be in the Southern Hemisphere)! 😊
Here in Geneva, the warmth and brightness of this time of the year, acts like a catalyst for beautiful, social gatherings in the open air. Today, there was another Meditaction session at the Parc des Bastions, and the experience was a very lively and uplifting one!
The group is growing, but the interactions stay intimate and true, which is the ultimate aim of these meetings. Authentic human interactions, where people feel comfortable to share their feelings and vulnerabilities, as well as their unique opinions and visions, are what make life meaningful and interesting for most of us.
One of the most striking aspects of group meditation, that is definitely apparent in our gatherings, is the creation of a collective energy field. When individuals come together with a shared intention to meditate, their combined focus and energy magnify the overall experience. Just as a candle flame can light multiple candles without diminishing its own glow, the collective energy generated in a group setting can inspire and deepen each individual's practice. This synergistic effect often leads to a more profound sense of presence and a heightened level of focus, making it easier to let go of distractions and enter a state of meditation.
From our experience, it also helps people connect with each other more easily and in a non-judgemental way. The shared silence and stillness create a deep sense of unity, fostering a feeling of belonging and interconnectedness. The collective energy field becomes a container of support, compassion, and understanding. The shared experience of meditation can also foster new friendships and a sense of community. This was really noticeable today, when the group decided to stay together even after the Meditaction session ended. Charged with positive vibrations, and after a collective heartening hug, we decided to go for a walk and have something to eat/drink together. Most of these people don't know each other, but by sitting together in peace, real bonds of trust and receptiveness are quickly developed.
By coming together with others to cultivate stillness, presence, and awareness, we tap into the vast potential for personal growth, healing, and inner peace. Whether you are an experienced meditator or new to the practice, exploring group meditation can bring a sense of unity, purpose, and profound well-being to your life.
Come join us in one of our next sessions! Embrace the power of togetherness, and allow yourself to be uplifted by the magical journey of group meditation in Geneva. We'd be really happy to welcome you in our group 🤗
Much love,
Tati
